About us

Incorporated in Jan 2002, Epoint Systems Pte Ltd is formed by a group of professionals with a strong passion to build and to deliver leading IT solutions to the growing POS industry.

Our Mission

We the employees of ES understand the importance of accurate information for retailers & franchises to manage a successful retail business. With the vast experience of our key personnel, we design and develop suitable software solution that delivery the vital information to these retailers.

We also create and nurture a healthy, creative, respectful, and fun office and workshop environment, in which our employees are fairly compensated and encouraged to respect the customer and the quality of the product we produce. We seek fair and responsible profit, enough to keep the company financially healthy for the long term and to fairly compensate owners and investors for their money and risk.

Although we recognize the intimate relationship between profitability and quality products, we know that our success is ultimately dependent on the well being of our employees.

The Products and Services

We provide small & medium-sized retailers with retail chain process planning solutions. We also provide consulting services by helping companies recognize opportunities for using technology to streamline their business processes. Last but not least, we provide complete software solution, training and services.

The Software

ES software products consist of a complete solution for retailers in various market segments such as Food & Beverage, Merchandising, Membership Clubs and Hotels. The software components consist of a Touch Screen Point of Sales (POINT.POS) for the front counter operation and a full fledge Back Office Management and Reporting System.

Add on options for the POS includes Bar & Kitchen printers, Table Reservation, Deposit Payment and Executive Information by Mobile Short Message Service.

ES software is engineered based on a well establish system; IGEN Point of Sales, developed in DOS environment in 1993. The latest ES software (Version 7.9) is built on Microsoft Visual FoxPro V7.0.

Our Consultation

We will perform an analysis of all potential clients' operation requirements as well as their degree of aptitude with adoption of software and information technology. The goal of this analysis is to ensure that all clients get a solution that best fits their needs and capabilities. Whether they decide to purchase the product or not, they will have an expert analysis of their requirement.

The Training

We provide further value to our customers by ensuring that users are properly trained in the use of all software components.

Our Team

The Management Team comprises of:

a) Mr. Dickson Lee – Sales and Marketing

·         Diploma in Computer Studies.

·         12 years of experience of supporting, sales and marketing of POS- Retail Solutions System.

·         Experiencing in managing and implementing relatively large project namely NTUC FairPrice Supermarket with approximately 650 POS terminal nationwide, Bata Shoe with approximately 50 Retail Outlet in Singapore and etc.

b) Mr. Lee Hon Sing – Products/Software Research & Development

·         Bachelor of Science Degree from National University of Singapore.

·         17 years of experience in System Design, Development & Installation of Accounting Systems and Work-in Progress Systems.

·         13 years of experience in System Design, Development and Installation of POS Systems for various trades in retail, food & beverage and specialty trades such as laser rental & photo-processing systems, ferry management systems, laundry services, facilities management system and jewellery business.

·         Developed the 1st Point of Sales software; IGEN Point of Sales in 1993

The Operation Team comprises of:

c) Mr. Teo Kim Seng – Project Management & Implementation

·         National Trade Certificate 3.

·         6 years of experience in administrating Unix System.

·         13 years of experience in administrating Windows OS System.

·         Highly competent in installation and configuration of Networking Systems. Implemented remote retail communication systems with experience in project implementation, scheduling and setting up operational procedures.

·         Track records: Black Angus Restaurant, Ferrylink (S) Pte Ltd, Singapore Academy of Law, Cable Car, More Fashion, A&W Changi Airport, Burger King Changi Airport, etc.

d) Mr. Mike Lim – Customer Support & Services

·         National Trade Certificate 3.

·         11 years of experience in commissioning of POS system in various environments locally and overseas. Specialising in implementation & training of new users.

·         Track records: TSL Jewellery, Ocean Pacific, Haagen Dazs Ice Cream, Ministry of Manpower, Singapore Dress Pte Ltd, etc.

The Non-Operation Team comprises of:

e) Mr. Khoo Tok Jwee

·         Businessman with numerous companies under his management for the past 20 years.

·         Developed and holds the Intellectual Property Rights to IGEN Point of Sales software since 1993 (currently marketed by I.G. POS System Pte Ltd).

·         Vast network of business partners in point of sales equipment supplies both locally and overseas.
